Raising public awareness on women's rights is vital for gender equality and a sustainable future. Raising this awareness will enable women to contribute to building an equitable and inclusive society that respects their rights. Raising public awareness on women's rights popularises the concept of gender equality and helps to combat gender-based discrimination, violence and inequalities. A society with equal opportunities creates a fairer and more balanced social structure. A society that is aware of women's rights becomes more sensitive to problems such as violence and discrimination against women.
Since young people in particular will be the leaders, business people and decision-makers of the future, a youth that is aware of women's rights ensures an egalitarian development of the social structure. It paves the way for more female representation in education, business life and politics and contributes to the removal of gender-based barriers. Young people who are aware of women's rights become positive role models for other individuals around them. By displaying a conscious attitude, they help the people around them to gain awareness on this issue. The awareness of young people contributes to the empowerment of women in economic, social and political life. In this way, women's participation in society increases freely and with equal rights, and women's full realisation of their potential is supported.
For these reasons, young people came together and founded ASOCIATIA FEMINAFORȚĂ in 2024 in Agnita, Romania. The aim of the organisation is to contribute to the dissemination of the concept of women's rights, first locally and then nationally and internationally.
The mission of ASOCIATIA FEMINAFORȚĂ is to advocate for women's rights and promote gender equality, ensuring that women have equal opportunities in all areas. The organization aims to support women's full participation in social, economic, and political life at local, national, and international levels.
